Hailing from sunny Tampa Bay, FL, Secret World plays a thunderous brand of punk, complete with "whoah"s and sing-a-long choruses not unlike scene mainstays Hot Water Music and Iron Chic. After playing together in Awkward Age for close to 10 years, the chemistry between guitarist Matt Shumate and vocalist/guitarist Vic Alvarez was already established when bassist Dave Conrad and drummer Joe Dave joined the fold. Now the group has released its debut EP, 4 songs combining grit with tack-sharp songwriting and a freight-train rhythm section to boot. Lost love, isolation, FoxNews pundit takedowns, it's all here. Get stoked!
